In Thailand, two people have been killed and hundreds injured amid clashes between police and anti-government protestors.
A car-bomb killed one man near Thailand's parliament, though police were not sure if the incident was connected to the protests. A female demonstrator was killed during clashes between the conservative People's Alliance for Democracy and police. The army has been deployed to the streets to help quell the unrest. The PAD has been demonstrating for months to force the government to resign, which it claims is a proxy for ousted former Prime Minister, Thaksin Shinawatra.
