A Swiss adventurer has successfully crossed the English Channel using a home-made jet-propelled wing.
Yves Rossy landed in a field near the English port of Dover after completing the 35-kilometre-long journey in less than 10 minutes. He had started the trip by jumping from a plane flying at more than 2,500 metres above the French town of Calais.
