Chavez set to meet Spanish king ... Minister Vladimir Putin made the remarks in Moscow following talks with Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez. Putin also expressed Russia's willingness to cooperate with Venezuela in military and technical matters. The two countries have boosted ties in recent weeks since the United States sharply criticised Russia for its incursion into Georgia last month. Moscow has dispatched long-range bombers to Venezuela and plans naval exercises with the South American country, whose leader, Chavez, strongly dislikes US power in the region.
