The people of Finland are mourning the victims of a shooting spree at a vocational school in the western city of Kauhajoki, in which 11 people were killed, including the gunman.
Finnish President Tarja Halonen said he expected the incident to provoke a national dialogue on gun ownership. Finnish gun ownership rates are among the highest in the world, but crime rates are generally low.
