A gunman has killed ten people during a shooting rampage at a vocational school in Kauhajoki in western Finland.
Finnish Prime Minister Matti Vanhanen addressed journalists shortly after the incident. Police disarmed the attacker, a 22-year-old student, after he shot himself in the head. He has meanwhile died in hospital from his injuries. It has been revealed that police interviewed the shooter on Monday, in relation to an internet video he had posted of himself firing a pistol. The incident comes almost a year after a gunman killed eight people and himself at a school in southern Finland.
