Heavy monsoon rains and overflowing rivers have displaced millions of people across India's northern and eastern states, officials say.
In the northern state of Uttar Pradesh, several districts are flooded and the army is helping rescue efforts.

In the eastern Orissa state, 30 people have died in the past four days after the Mahanadi river flooded many areas.
Hundreds of thousands are still living in relief camps in Bihar state a month after the Kosi river changed course.

house collapses and electrocution in Uttar Pradesh since Monday, state relief commissioner GK Tandon said.
The army has been requested to help rescue operations in Barabanki district where Ghaghra river has breached a bank, Mr Tandon told the BBC.

He said the floods had affected nearly three million people from 5,000 villages in 23 districts.
Mr Tandon said 7,000 houses had collapsed and 350,000 had been partially damaged.
More than 50,000 people were sheltering in relief camps, he said.
Officials say paramilitary police have been deployed to help with the rescue operations.
Food packets are being dropped in the areas still cut off by flood waters.
Officials say the Ghaghra, Sharda, Rapti and Gandak rivers - flowing into Uttar Pradesh from Nepal - are overflowing .
The water level of river Ganges is also rising at Kanpur, Allahabad and Gazipur.
Under water
Meanwhile, in the eastern Orissa state, 30 people have died and over 3.7m people across 18 districts have been affected by the floods.
Officials say 600,000 people are still marooned in the state.
The state government has sought the help of the Indian navy in relief and rescue operations.

Nearly 1,850 villages are under water, in the worst floods in 50 years.
The Mahanadi River has breached its banks in several places, sweeping away motorways.
Road and rail communications between the state capital Bhubaneswar and many other towns, including the pilgrim town of Puri, have been broken.
Officials say a lack boats and strong river currents have hampered relief and rescue operations.
More rain
There have been reports of a lorry laden with relief material being looted by angry people in Orissa's Kendrapada district.
The plight of people stranded on roads is set to worsen as meteorologists predict more rains in Orissa in the next 24 hours.
The authorities in Orissa have requested 15bn rupees (Ј179m) in emergency assistance from the central government in Delhi.
The floods have also hit the states of West Bengal, Jharkhand and Assam, killing dozens of people.
Meanwhile, a month after the Kosi river breached its bank in Nepal and flooded vast tracts of land in the northern state of Bihar, hundreds of thousands continue to live in relief camps.
