A motorist has driven a car into a group of soldiers in the Israeli city of Jerusalem, injuring at least 15 people - one seriously, reports say.
"We can confirm it was a terror attack.
The man was shot and killed," a police spokesman said.
The BBC's Paul Wood at the scene said a security guard at Jerusalem's City Hall fired two bullets at the driver.
He says police are now trying to clear the scene of people over fears of an explosive device in the vehicle.

"A man in a vehicle struck a number of people in Kikar Tzahal [also known as Israel Defence Forces Square]," said police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld.
The identity of the alleged attacker was not immediately known, with reports suggesting he could be Palestinian.
