In New Delhi at least 20 people have been killed and dozens of others injured in a series of bombings.
A government spokesman said at least five separate explosions had rocked the city within the space of 45 minutes. Police said two other bombs were discovered and defused before they could go off. A little known Islamist terrorist group called the Indian Mujahadeen has claimed responsibility for the attacks.
