The Tibetan spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama, has cancelled a planned tour next month of Germany and Switzerland.
A spokesman for the 73-year-old, who recently spent several days in a Mumbai hospital, said that the Dalai Lama has been ordered by his doctors to cut back on his travels and to rest.
