A South African court has dismissed a corruption case against ANC party chief Jacob Zuma.
The judge ruled that prosecutors did not follow proper procedure and suggested that the charges were politically motivated. Zuma was facing charges of corruption, fraud and money laundering relating to a 1999 arms deal. The ruling clears the path for Zuma to succeed Thabo Mbeki as president in elections next year.
