The presidents of Venezuela and Colombia are meeting in an attempt to put aside months of animosity.
Colombia's Alvaro Uribe travelled to northwest Venezuela for a meeting with Hugo Chavez. The two men have clashed in the last eight months over the FARC, a leftist guerrilla group in Colombia. Chavez has in the past openly supported the FARC which has led a decades long insurgency against the Colombian government.
