The foreigner police blocked access to platforms and checked all people at the station ahead of the arrival of a Moscow-Prague express train. About 20 Mongolians got out from the train. The police checked them and let go those with valid documents. The job brokers were detained. Commander Jiri Kopecny said Mongolians are now replacing Ukrainian workers who used to arrive in the Czech republic en masse in search of work. Most of them stayed in the country illegally. Now, they either stay at home where there have been more job opportunities of late, or go further westwards. Kopecny said an estimated 30 to 40 Mongolians arrive in the Czech Republic weekly.
