In the 10-million Czech Republic, about 2.7 million people, including 2 million old-age pensioners, receive old age, disability or widow and widower's pensions. This is for the second time the CSSD proposes a one-off subsidy to pensioners. Earlier this year it proposed that pensioners receive a subsidy of 6,000 crowns in June.
