Czech Foreign Minister optimistic about ratification of EU treaty ... where he has recovered from the early June hip surgery. U.S.
Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and Czech Foreign Minister Karel Schwarzenberg signed the treaty on the radar, which the USA wants to install in the Brdy military district in west Bohemia, during Rice's visit to Prague. Before the treaty is submitted to Klaus for signature, it requires the approval from Czech parliament, where, however, the centre-right government is not sure of a sufficient support for the project.
