Rice and her Czech counterpart Karel Schwarzenberg signed the main treaty on the stationing of a U.S.
radar base on Czech soil in Prague today. The base is to be part of the U.S. anti-missile shield. U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Michael Chertoff said a month ago further countries, including the Czech Republic, should be included in the visa-waiver programme as from this autumn.
