Heavy fighting in Gaza ... for a rocket attack, itself a violation of the June 19 ceasefire between the two sides. A Hamas spokesman claimed the rockets were not fired by Hamas members. The truce was supposed to lead to the easing of a crippling blockade imposed by Israel after the Islamist movement seized power in Gaza more than a year ago. The Israeli military said the Gaza Strip crossings would stay closed until at least Sunday.
