03.07.2008 - Czech ministry launches first phase of e-payment order system
The system is to be gradually put in full operation by next spring, he said.
"At the moment we've launched the first phase, which is advantageous for citizens," he continued, adding that courts have received the first 11 e-orders since July 1 when the system was launched.
Pospisil said the e-payment order is to speed up the handling of unquestionable claims such as subscription fees, bills for gas and electricity supplies, rents and fines.
The system is expected to speed up court proceedings and to relieve judges of excessive paperwork.
The next phase, scheduled for the autumn, is to focus on the facilitation of courts' work.
