Poland is to host a base with ten interceptor missiles. The shield is planned as defence against hostile missiles rogue countries such as Iran or North Korea might launch. On Tuesday Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk did not rule out that the U.S.-Polish treaty could be signed during the visit by U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice to Warsaw, due next week. Prague has already completed its negotiations with the USA on the main treaty concerning the radar. It is to be signed by Rice during her Prague visit on July 8.
