Kosovo vows to protect minorities ... the Czech Republic. It is ready to start fufilling tasks within five days of activation. The Czech republic now has more than 400 soldiers in Kosovo. It sent the firsts reinforcements to Kosovo last November when general and local elections were held there. Kosovo declared independence of Serbia on February 17. The Czech Republic has not yet recognised its independence.
